persona of the Frankenstein-monster.  Though he must realize that neither his role nor his digital doings have any decency, thus he becomes real – just in time before all internet collapse.  And so do all civilizations – except our hero:  He is well prepared for the upcoming stone age, the undigitized age where there is only natural lifestyle left…

The woman is suffering.  Bernard L. Madoff has confessed, after 50 years of marriage, that he had embezzled USD 65 Billion from every Tom, Dick and Harry – in quiet conclusion, and over decades. 
Now, Ruth Madoff is 80 years old. 13 years have passed since the Madoff scandal shook the world.  And since the fraudster was locked away for 150 years.  Despite having cut off all contact, she has never divorced her childhood sweetheart.  
In her daily routine, Ruth prepares breakfast for her two sons - she even hallucinates, Bernie might join... only to be shockingly reminded that both sons have died - one by suicide, the other by accelerated cancer. 
The lonely, destitute woman drifts through the wreckage of her former life, as gone is the status as New York’s First Lady, as gone are luxury and wealth, as gone is her family, as gone is just - everything.
Traumatized, she is interrupted by the charm of a young pizza delivery boy - and is instantly fueled by a romantic future with him in his hometown Venice. 
Though, Ruth Madoffs life takes a turn for the worse, as she must cruelly learn of her husband’s demise in prison.
Not only is she relentlessly hounded by paparazzi, but the demons of her past torture her anew: 'How well did I actually want to know my husband?'

Die Frau leidet.  Bernard L. Madoff gesteht ihr nach 50 Jahren Ehe, dass er 65 Milliarden US-Dollar von Hinz und Kunz unterschlagen hat – über Jahrzehnte und im stillen Kämmerchen.
Jetzt ist Ruth Madoff 80 Jahre alt. 13 Jahre sind vergangen, seit der Madoff-Skandal die Welt erschütterte.  Und seit der Betrüger zu 150 Jahren Haft verurteilt wurde. Obwohl sie jeglichen Kontakt zu ihm abgebrochen hatte, hat sie sich nie von ihrer Jugendliebe scheiden lassen.
In ihrem Alltag bereitet sie das Frühstück für ihre Söhne zu.  Sie halluziniert sogar, dass Bernie sich ihnen anschliesst – bis sie abrupt daran erinnert wird, dass ja beide Söhne das Zeitliche gesegnet haben – einer durch Selbstmord, der andere durch verschnellerten Krebs. Traumatisiert durchlebt die einsame, mitellose Ruth beständig Erinnerungen an ihrem früheren Luxus-Lebens, an ihre perfekte Familie, an ihrem Status als First Lady von New York. Aber der Charme eines jungen Pizzaboten beflügelt Ruth impulsiv von der Vision einer gemeinsamen romantischen Zukunft in seiner Heimatstadt Venedig.
Doch dann nimmt Ruth Madoffs Leben eine bittere Wendung:  Sie erfährt auf herzlose Weise vom Tod ihres Mannes im Gefängnis. Nicht nur wird sie in der Folge unerbittlich von Paparazzi verfolgt, auch die Dämonen ihrer Vergangenheit quälen sie erneut: 'Wie gut wollte ich meinen Ehemann eigentlich kennen?'
